Le marché de la distribution du gaz butane devient de plus en plus un marché oligopolistique au point où la société FAAKI CONGO, considérée en situation de monopole, se trouve confrontée à une concurrence selon la modèle de Michael Porter. Cette concurrence tient au fait que le secteur pétrolier aval et amont est rentable. L’article se propose d’analyser la position concurrentielle de FAAKI CONGO sur le marché concurrentiel de la distribution de gaz à Brazzaville. Il vise aussi à identifier les problèmes auxquels l’entreprise est confrontée.

The market of butane gas distribution is becoming more and more oligopolistic in such a way that FAAKI CONGO, a company viewed in a monopolistic situation, is confronted with competition according to the Michael Porter model. Such competition is explained by the fact that the downstream and upstream oil sector is profitable. This paper aims at analyzing the competitive position of FAAKI CONGO on the competitive market of gas distribution in Brazzaville. It also aims at identifying the problems that the enterprise is facing.
