Contaminação clubber: corpo e performance na cena de São Paulo

O presente artigo busca investigar a relação entre corpo, cidade e performance na cena clubber de festas independentes de música eletrônica da cidade de São Paulo. Partindo de uma breve apresentação do campo, este trabalho desenvolve as noções de cena, contaminação e performance, entendendo o corpo como um aspecto central da cena clubber. A ideia de contaminação surge nesta pesquisa como uma perspectiva clubber que parte do próprio campo – no texto, é desenvolvida com base na teoria de Mary Douglas e na figura do monstro. A noção de performance é abordada em diferentes perspectivas: de modo a evidenciar uma arquitetura relacional própria da cena clubber. O texto é fruto da pesquisa de Iniciação Científica realizada entre 2019 e 2020, que foi atravessada pelo isolamento social da pandemia de Covid-19, e teve como principais interlocutories integrantes do coletivo artístico Metanoia.

This article aims to investigate the relationship between body, city and performance in the clubber scene of independent electronic music parties in the city of São Paulo. Starting from a brief presentation of the field, this work develops the notions of scene, contamination and performance, recognizing the body as a central aspect of the club scene. The idea of ​​contamination emerges in this research as a clubber perspective birthed in the field itself – in the article, it is developed based on the theory of Mary Douglas and the figure of the monster. The notion of performance is approached from different perspectives: in order to highlight a relational architecture typical of the club scene. The article is a result of a Scientific Initiation research carried out between 2019 and 2020, which was transpassed by the social isolation of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research had members of the artistic collective Metanoia as its main interlocutors.
