This is a postface to Julia Pascal’s Holocaust Trilogy (Theresa, A Dead Woman on Holiday, The Dybbuk), Presented as a trilogy at the New End Theatre in 1995. These plays explore the complexity of being a Jew in Europe through the ages, regardless of one’s faith, when more often than not who you really are is decided by economical and political powers.
