Hospitalisation of exiled dyads from sub-Saharan Africa in a mother and infant unit

Résumé 0

The objective of this study was to assess the response to care of exiled dyads from sub-Saharan Africa cared for in a mother-baby unit for maternal perinatal depression. Using a quantitative and comparative methodology with the Global Rating Scale for Mother-Infant Interaction, we showed that mothers from sub-Saharan Africa in exile responded fairly well to care. Babies exhibited a more mixed evolution, but mother-infant interactions evolved favourably overall.
