"The concept of substance (liquid and solíd) , weight and spaee, conservatíon, was studied according to Píaget, The subjects were children ofprivate schools in Mexico Cíty, from. 4 years and: 6 months of age, to 6years and 5 months, after measuring the level of response of the subjects,training was given in 4 behaviors. The group with training was significantlybetter than the control group. The results also indicate that trainingdid not act negative1y on any maturational process. The acquisitionof the conservation concept seems to be higbly correlated with age, asPiaget índicated."
