Regime study of the Ouegha wadi at M’Jara. The Ouegha is a typical wadi of the Rif ; it drains a mountainous catchment area which, in comparison with other areas in Morocco, is well watered (an average of over 1,000 mm). The author indicates the regular regime of the wadi and gives some information about the duration and size of floods. The paper then presents a mathematical analysis of the regime by the Gibrat method (mathematical adjustment of the classified daily discharges). The author tries to establish a mathematical relation between rainfall and annual discharge. Although the result of this is questionable it does seem that a relation exists between rainfall and monthly Winter discharge.

L'Ouegha est l'oued typique du Rif, drainant un bassin montagneux très arrosé par rapport aux autres cours d'eau du Maroc (plus de 1.000 mm en moyenne). L'auteur montre le régime très irrégulier de l'oued et donne quelques renseignements sur la durée et l'importance des crues. Le mémoire présente ensuite l'analyse mathématique du régime effectuée avec la méthode de Gibrat (ajustement mathématique des débits journaliers classés). L'auteur essaye d'établir une relation mathématique entre pluie et débit annuels. Si celle-ci est assez problématique, il semble par contre qu'il existe une certaine relation entre pluie et débit mensuels d'hiver.
