Résumé 0

"Ultrastructural aspects of mouse small intestinal tissue culturesinfected with Aeromonas spp. strains are described. Highresolution light and transmission electron microscopy wereused to assess the bacterial pathogenic mechanism, the ultrastructuralchanges that take place during the colonization ofthe intestinal tract and the interaction of Aeromonas spp. withthe host epithelium. After 24h of culture, chains of vesicleswere seen on the outer surface of the Aeromonas´ membrane. The vesicles were also found on the enterocyte surface. After48h of culture, lysis of the epithelial intestinal cells, mononuclearphagocytic cells, phagocytic eosinophils and phagocytedAeromonas were observed."
