Résumé
In 1538 at Preveza, the Christians let escape the opportunity of a very great promise of victory on the Turks and the possibility to vanquish definitively Barbarossa. Why this campaign was not a success despite the supposed superiority of the Christians but a real defeat? A synthetic reconstruction of this unfortunate Christian operation at Preveza will provide us useful informations and reveal mixed interests in the facts! we will bring to light part of the actors' mind and find an illustration of the mentalities o the time, giving some keys to appreciate better Preveza in 1538.
