Intersectionality quantifies over social categories and takes from the vocabulary of a static group geometry, falling short at capturing human individual dynamic experiences of categorial assignations. I propose to think of the category as the result of what power really creates and defends: the frontiers between human groups. Intersectionality is among the properties of these frontiers. I show how the notion of frontier dwells on the concrete individual knowledge of geopolitical borders (localisation, crossings, resistances, clandestinity).The publlshed version of this article is in English at hal-01249674.

L'intersectionalité quantifie sur les catégories sociales et emprunte au vocabulaire d'une statique géométrie des ensembles, peinant à capturer les expériences humaines individuelles dynamiques des assignations catégorielles. Je propose de penser la catégorie comme le résultat de ce que crée et défend réellement le pouvoir : les frontières entre groupes humains. L'intersectionalité est une des propriétés de ces frontières.
