Résumé
This article examines the production of forms like je parlE by Swedish adultlearners of French. It highlights the contribution of the Missing Surface InflectionHypothesis regarding the use of default forms. Based on an analysis of thefrequency of surface forms in the input, this study will further show that thevariation found in learners’ interlanguage does show some systematic aspects.
