Une analyse historique du cours d’analyse supérieure donné par Guido Fubini à l’université de Turin en 1916 et entièrement consacré à la théorie des nombres ouvre d’intéressantes perspectives d’étude. L’article retrace une pratique de patrimonialisation collective, au sens où il analyse comment une communauté mathématique (l’École italienne de géométrie algébrique) liée à un lieu spécifique (l’université de Turin) organisait l’enseignement supérieur au cours d’une année donnée (1916), l’objectif étant d’identifier ce qu’elle jugeait important de préserver et de transmettre par rapport à un certain domaine du savoir, aux ressources disponibles et à une identité construite sur le temps long.

A historical analysis of the course in Advanced Analysis delivered by Guido Fubini at the University of Turin in 1916 which was entirely devoted to number theory opens an intriguing trend of study. The article traces a collective practice of patrimonialization insofar as it analyses how a mathematical community (the Italian School of Algebraic Geometry) linked to a specific place (the University of Turin) organized higher education in a given year (1916), identifying what it judged important to preserve and transmit in relation to a certain disciplinary sector, to the material resources available and to an identity built over the long term.
