L’article décrit le processus de recrutement d’une personne dite accompagnée au sein d’un centre de formation en travail social. L’expérience a pour point d’ancrage la réponse du centre de formation à l’injonction des autorités publiques à mettre en œuvre la dimension de « participation » des personnes concernée à la formation. La détermination et la confiance construite au fil du temps entre les principaux acteurs sont des facteurs clefs pour mener à terme une telle démarche. La difficulté de cette démarche a été renforcée par l’inexistence d’outils administratifs et l’absence d’accompagnement psychosocial et pédagogique des parties prenantes.

The article describes the process of recruiting a so-called supported person in a social work training centre. The experience is anchored in the training centre’s response to the public authorities’ injunction to put into practice the dimension of the “participation” of the persons concerned in the training. Determination and trust built up over time between the main actors are key factors in bringing such an approach to fruition. The difficulty of this approach was reinforced by the lack of administrative tools and the absence of psychosocial and educational support for the persons involved.
