Alberdi Carmen et al., « Des marqueurs métalinguistiques en réunion de travail : des clés pour interagir », HALSHS : archive ouverte en Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société, ID : 10.3726/b21750
This article focuses on the metalinguistic markers used in authentic workmeetings collected in different professional or associative contexts. The use of languagein the workplace has been increasing steadily and now concerns a variety ofoccupations, whatever the level of academic qualification. Language is used to organisework, to transmit and share information and knowledge about the job itself orabout the various people involved, to solve problems or to propose solutions and improvements.Although markers are frequently used during these different interactions, their meaning is not self-evident because of their polysemous nature, their associationwith other markers which can modify their meaning (mais bon, un peu trop…), theprosody with which they are formulated or the gazes, the facial expressions or the gestureswhich accompany them. To document these uses and their lexical and multimodalvariety, we offer teachers and trainers sequences of excerpts from ecological workmeetings explaining the interactional characteristics in context and accompanied bymultimedia activities. These resources are aimed at different audiences: learners ofFrench, people undergoing professional retraining, beginners in the working world, people with language insecurity, native or non-native speakers.
