This paper aims first of all to place the dialogue between literature and economics within several theoretical frameworks thinking of both disciplines as partners. Then, it analyses three authors’ positions: observation of the economic world (Jean-Charles Massera), belonging to this world (Thierry Beinstingel) and investigation in the same context (Eric Chauvier). It will enable a questioning about the relation between reality and fiction.
