Résumé 0

One role of the educational consultant is to provide continuous training and educational support to teachers. Their work presents numerous challenges, including those of building their skills and ensuring their credibility as adult educators among members of the teaching profession from which they themselves emerged. In semi-structured interviews, eleven educational consultants employed by a school board in Ontario, Canada discussed their strategies for developing and maintaining their personal effectiveness as adult educators. The article also focuses on relationship strategies and work and attitude management strategies that emerged from an inductive analysis.
