The aim of this article is to compare two mother language (french) curricula (lower secondary education) of the French Community of Belgium: the official network curricula and the private network curricula. Following the example of Mangez (2004), this article compares the curricula on the basis of the concepts of Bernstein (2007): visible pedagogy and invisible pedagogy. The mother language (french) curricula are subject to in-depth analysis with the computer software Tropes.

Le but de cette étude est de comparer, dans une même unité de temps et d'espace, deux programmes de français du premier degré de l'enseignement secondaire, à savoir celui du réseau libre confessionnel et celui du réseau de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. A l'instar de Mangez (2004), nous nous intéressons au caractère visible ou invisible (Bernstein, 2007) de chacun de ces programmes. Pour ce faire, deux types d'analyses ont été effectués : une analyse de contenu des deux programmes à l'aide du logiciel Tropes, ainsi qu'une lecture approfondie de ces textes.
